Rose showed at the Western Washington Weimaraner Specialty Show Aug.22/08 winning a Judge's Award of Merit with Rowan Norris-Jones as handler.

When Rose hears, smells or sees a squirrel a hunt is on. Be it in the forest, the back yard or on the deck, or on the other side of the privacy lattice.
The squirrels often climb the house walls attempting to reach the bird feeder which is below the deck on the other side of the lattice. Rose is intent on watching the squirrel's progress without a movement or sound coming from her.
Rose sits, quiet and patient, as the squirrel's progress along the wall is taking some time.
Rose is joined by Lily who also becomes intrigued with the squirrel.
The squirrel watch continues with Rose remaining very focused on the squirrel. Never taking her eyes off or away from the lattice holes.

Rose had a successful show weekend at the Comox Valley All Breed Championship Show this weekend placing Second in Sporting Group on Friday, June 6/08 , First place in Sporting Group Sat, June 7/08 and finishing another First place in Sporting Group, Sunday, June 8/08. Rose was handled by Rowan Norris Jones who also handled Winston finishing him as the No. 1 Weimaraner in Canada 2006.
Rowan said Rose showed great in the three days of showing enjoying herself in the show ring wagging her tail all the time.

Today Rose is hunting the squirrel which is is intently listening for. The squirrel is up in the tree somewhere.
The squirrel tree is found and if Rose had climbing gear she would be right up that tree!!

Rose wishes everyone a Very Happy New Year and can hardly wait for 2008 to arrive!!
Rose determined to have the orange ball just barely seen between the Weim muzzles. Winston just as determined to lay claim to the ball. This game went on for several minutes without either giving in.

Rose is happy to announce she is the Mom Weim to be to six wee little weimaraners which were seen on the ultrasound today. So far only six were seen........ a good start for her first litter!!!
Rose has returned home after successfully showing in the US with professional handler, Pam Sage. As well as ranking in the Top Ten Weimaraners in US, Rose had a successful breeding with Clay, another Top Ten Weimaraner. Showing signs of pregancy are present to be confirmed with an Ultrasound next week.
Rose is enjoying being back on her favourite place at night....... especially with all the pillows and fluffly quilt.
