Sleeping weim puppy.....

Even while the puppies sleep they seem to be always moving. This pup started on its back a favorite weim position. If you click on picture to enlarge you will see the long nails with white ends which need to be cut. The nails are cut to avoid scratching the mother's stomach while nursing which could not only hurt but become infected.










Then rolls onto her side touching front paws to back paws








Only to stretch out again and stick out her tongue.












A different puppy with a different position. The pup is leaning against PVC piping which has been used to make a pig rail around the inside of the whelping box to prevent the pups from being pushed up against the box sides and squished by Mom.
